Dear Yu-Chieh,

 

Congratulations! I am pleased to offer you admission to California College of the Arts (CCA) for Fall 2019. We believe that art and design is changing the world and that you will contribute significantly to it as a new member of our dynamic community of artists, designers, architects, and writers.

 

In recognition of your hard work and creative promise, I am also pleased to offer you the $40,000 Creative Achievement Award, issued at $10,000 per year. This merit scholarship is renewable as long as you remain a full-time degree-seeking student at CCA.

 

Our enrollment staff is committed to helping you make a smooth transition to CCA. If you haven't seen our campuses yet, I encourage you to plan a visit to the San Francisco Bay Area. You can sign up for a tour or special event at cca.edu/visit, or you can schedule an appointment with your enrollment counselor by calling 1-800-447-1ART.

 

To our creative community, please submit your $300 enrollment deposit at cca.edu/admitted by May 1 or two weeks after the receipt of this letter, whichever is later. You can begin your I-20 process for the F-1 Visa after you've submitted your enrollment deposit. Instructions are found on Step 9 of the Admitted Student page. 

 

As a new student at CCA, you will be exposed to new ideas and different perspectives that will inspire you to create art that makes a difference. The Bay Area's geographic beauty, incredible diversity, and longtime support for the arts make CCA a perfect place to pursue your arts education.
