Event Highlights｜Nantou Zhongxing Junior High School Drone Soccer Experience Camp
In this hands-on technology education experience, drones were more than just tools — they became a bridge between understanding, operation, collaboration, and creativity. Organized by our company, this youth drone experience camp combined simulator training, innovative competitive formats, and outdoor flight practice, guiding students into the world of drone technology through direct engagement.
Unlike traditional classroom learning, this program focused on learning by doing — understanding through action, and building confidence through challenge.
Starting with Simulators: Learning from Zero
We believe that the first step in technology education should be "touchable, tryable, and even fail-able." The camp began with hands-on drone simulator practice, helping students build muscle memory and spatial awareness in a safe, virtual environment.
This approach eliminates the need for complex theory at the beginning, allowing beginners to get comfortable quickly and realize, "I can do this."
Drone Soccer – Turning Technology into Excitement
When drones enter the arena, flying gains a purpose and direction. One of the camp’s highlights was drone soccer, a thrilling competition blending technical skills, creative strategy, and teamwork.
Students controlled their drones to chase, dodge, and score, with every goal met by cheers and celebration. Through this, they learned the importance of control, reaction, and in-the-moment judgment.
Technology became tangible, cooperative, and alive — not just something on a screen.
Taking Flight Outdoors: Turning Skills into Reality
Ultimately, every practice leads to the real thing. In the outdoor session, students piloted actual drones — taking off, hovering, maneuvering, and landing — while adapting to wind, space, and distance.
This phase tested not only their technical skills, but also their focus and mental calm.
For many, their first successful landing was a moment of pure joy — a memory of the first time they felt the true power of technology in their own hands.
